October has been a busy month for me for art exhibits. As I mentioned in the last blog post, I am one of 4 artists to be featured at Jefferson Street Studio and Gallery during the month of October as well as the Sparks! Art Exhibit, as part of the Celebration of Women Artists in the Peoria area.
There was a nice article written up in the Morton Times about the exhibit at Jefferson Street Studio and Gallery along with one in the Peoria Journal Star, and one of my photos was featured in the paper for that one!
It's so great to get so much publicity for this special exhibit!
I've been seriously considering lately about making a Photography by Emily Jacob Facebook page. I'm concerned about how easy it is to steal photos though. Does any one have any thoughts or opinions on it? Do you think it's worth it? Facebook is such a great and free marketing tool, I hate to not take advantage of it!
I still haven't gotten to go out and shoot, but hopefully next weekend! The trees are starting to change, I would love to get up to Starved Rock before it's too late! Hopefully I will have some new stuff soon!
